Youth Diplomacy Association
Turkic World Youth Forum
What is the Youth Diplomacy Association?
The Youth Diplomacy Association is a pioneering youth platform that brings together high school and university students interested in diplomacy and international relations, encouraging them to think, debate, create and represent. By uniting young people from all over Türkiye around a shared structure, the Association aims to help them develop their intellectual skills, raise their awareness and form a conscious youth that acts together.
Through academic programmes, diplomacy simulations, workshops, conferences and international projects, the Association strengthens participants’ analytical, representation and diplomatic communication skills, while serving as a meeting point where young people can make their voices heard and contribute to their long-term development.
What is the Turkic World Youth Forum?
The Turkic World Youth Forum is a diplomacy and youth platform that brings together young minds from 8 different Turkic nations as not only participants but as “Youth Ambassadors” to represent their own country. Departing from traditional theoretic simulations, the forum allows Youth Ambassadors to come together in order to discuss and create new ideas on innovative projects as well as build direct partnerships with peers from across the region.
As part of the Forum, Youth Ambassadors work within multinational commissions focused on several key areas: artificial intelligence and technology, education, media, youth and sports, culture and tourism, environment and climate, entrepreneurship, music and art and diplomacy. Guided by expert academics and diplomats, participants get to exchange perspectives on shared challenges and develop concrete projects and solutions. Alongside these sessions, The Forum strengthens cross-cultural connections within the Turkic World and creates space to explore cultural events that highlight the diverse heritage and shared traditions of the region.
As its core, the forum aims to foster dialogue and cooperation among Turkic youth, build a shared vision for the future, and provide opportunities to transform young ideas into sustainable projects. More than just a periodic meetup, the forum creates a permanent youth network and a sustainable diplomacy ecosystem that extends well past the event itself.
Our Mission
Our mission is to transform the shared awareness of language, history, and culture among the youth of the Turkic World into lasting collaborations, and to establish a strong communication network among young people living in different regions of the Turkic World.
The Turkic World Youth Forum is not a simulation.
The Forum is a genuine platform that brings together the youth of the Turkic World who have been separated for many years due to various political reasons around their shared identity. Young people will come together to reflect, produce, and develop on the common issues of the Turkic World, and collaboratively implement the projects and works they put forward.
Our Vision
In line with the Turkic World Vision 2040, our vision is to establish regular and sustainable cooperation among the youth of the Turkic World, and to create a "Young Decision-Makers Structure" that generates joint projects and brings these developed projects to life for the region.
The Forum aims to enable the youth of the Turkic World to get to know each other more closely, build a shared vision for the future, and act in unity in accordance with this perspective. Therefore, it seeks to ensure that initiatives regarding the future of the Turkic World are prepared with the direct participation of youth, strengthening cross-cultural connections and cooperation across the region through new generations.
Commission Structure
Unlike the temporary simulation roles that participants usually take on, the Turkic World Youth Forum is built on the "Youth Ambassador" model, in which every young person directly represents their own country. The multinational commissions, each bringing together 2 Youth Ambassadors from each of the 8 represented countries, are shaped around the young people’s fields of interest.
